The Alpine acoustic-electric guitars are taken from the mold of the Sequoia series, but the Alpine adds a cutaway body design and innovative on-board electronics. The cutaway body style provides increased access to the upper frets, while the natural sounds of the Alpine series are reproduced by the NEW Barcus-Berry Breeze IV (solid top models) or Breeze II pickup and preamp systems.

I get tired of the guitar folk saying if you want great sound get a T@#%%$ or a M#@#@%. These high priced premadonnas can't hold a candle to the performance of a Sierra. Plugged in it is like being on the mountain top watching the sunrise...in a word, refreshing. I have played boutique guitars and I'm glad this guitar is not priced like them. I hope to have one to call my own some day. Thanks to Eric for letting me play his SDS35CE.
