Jumbo size meets jumbo sound. The Tahoe was designed with volume and big bottom end in mind. The larger lower bout and slightly rounded back design provide for a strong and full-bodied sound. A maple neck with mahogany reinforced striping is set to the body with a dovetail neck joint, giving the Tahoe models enhanced sustain and a stable neck angle. Topped off with Sierra's unique gold ComfortGrip diecast tuners. All Tahoe models are loaded with NEW Barcus-Berry Breeze IV or Breeze II pickup and preamp systems.

After several months of seeing Sierra Guitars in my local music store (Vacaville Music) I finally decided to pick one up. I was not disappointed. It took about two strums for me to fall in love with the Jumbo SJS98CE, although all the Sierras I played were great (especially the Sunrise Auditoriums). I've owned a Tahoe now for 1-1/2 years and have yet to be disappointed in it. The beauty & quality of craftsmanship, feel/playability, that deep, full, rich TONE, the solid electronics (which do not sound tinny at all!), solid machine heads, the built in tuner is a great bonus and even the case is NICE! This is by far my favorite acoustic. Easy to play, great sustain for rhythm and matches my deep voice perfectly. If I were to lose this guitar I would work overtime to replace it ASAP! Overall, I am extremely satisfied and prefer the sound of the SJS98CE to SEVERAL high end guitars I've played. The Tahoe has definitely become an integral part of my sound.

These guitars sound like a $2000 guitar with a small price! They are hand made in China which some people don't seem to like. But it is designed in America and is just the same!
